The Borgmästaregården Health Center is located in the heart of Malmö, with Skåne University Hospital (Sus), the Stadium, and the fantastic Pildammsparken as neighbors. We have close proximity to both Södervärn bus station and Triangeln with the City Tunnel and good commuting options. The health center currently has about 7,200 registered patients and over 35 employees. The health center has a well-functioning and stable medical staffing and other staffing, a good work environment with flexible working hours, good cooperation, participation, and opportunities for influence. The health center has a significant elderly care clinic designed to suit the demographics of the area. We work in teams to develop and drive our various lifestyle clinics forward for the best person-centered care with good accessibility for patients. Regular joint staff meetings and professional gatherings allow us to develop together and achieve our set goals.

At the health center, we have district nurse clinics, specialist clinics in the areas of asthma/COPD, diabetes, blood pressure, and atrial fibrillation. Together with our nurses, nursing assistants, physiotherapists, rehabilitation team, and psychosocial team, we work for the best interests of the patient. Every day we have a triage clinic for acute patients where doctors and nurses collaborate closely. In addition, we have a close collaboration with the municipal home care.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We now welcome another specialist doctor to our competent team of seven specialists and four ST doctors. You will be part of a team where you make a difference, are involved, and create a well-functioning care for our patients.

In your role, you will meet patients of different ages and with various medical needs, which gives you the opportunity to use your medical knowledge and skills daily. You will meet your patients during scheduled visits, urgent visits, or digital visits. All patients with chronic diseases are called for regular visits to ensure good and qualitative care.

At our health center, we work based on evidence and proven experience and promote continuous professional development to keep us updated with the latest medical knowledge and technology. We also promote good collaboration with the municipality and other external actors and are happy to invite guest speakers.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed physician with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare and who has specialist competence in general medicine. Language skills in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale are a requirement.

As a person, you are secure in your role as a doctor and share your knowledge selflessly with colleagues in different professional groups as well as potential students and AT doctors. You focus on your patients while seeing yourself as part of a larger context; part of the team and the organization. You are curious and eager to learn and want to continuously develop in your role as a doctor. You are passionate about putting the patient at the center, contributing to the success of the organization, and are ready to collaborate with us to improve our operations.
